on great ease of losing direction of judgement

Once, a man led a goat along the road. Five tricksters wanted to get his goat, so they decided to cheat him at five different locations, telling him the same thing: He was pulling a dog.
At first, the man was confident that he was pulling a goat; later on, he started to doubt, and in the end, since so many people were telling him that it was a dog, he left the goat behind.
This story sounds ridiculous, but it does occur everywhere in our daily life.
Under the influence of dissemination, many people start to lose their direction of judgement, taking black as white, and finally give up their own standpoint, echoing the views of others.
